Boondoggle

 

Chris Marolda and Jim Heetmann began their association as two parts of the popular Connecticut duo, Boondoggle.  After over six years of fun and successful music making, the duo decided to expand so they formed the FBI in 2004.  However, many of Boondoggle's former fans and clients were disappointed and demanded that Chris and Jim offer something similar to the duo that had entertained them for so many years.  Late in 2006 Chris and Jim added Mark Caps to the duo, effectively creating a trio, and decided to call themselves The Fuster Cluck Trio.  Unfortunately, some of the clubs and agents took offense to that name so they were forced to fall back on their old name, Boondoggle.  Boondoggle hasn't performed professionally since 2007 but you can still catch Chris & Jim doing an occasional impromptu acoustic performance when the mood strikes them (usually in someone's back yard).
